Many fans got saddened when Disney Channel canceled the American sitcom, the "Girl Meets World" Season 4. Nevertheless, a new hope arises since recent reports claimed that there might still be a fourth season.
In January, the "Girl Meets World" creator Michael Jacobs expressed his opposition with Disney's verdict, The Wrap reported. "I don't think 'Girl' should have been canceled. We signed to do four seasons. I thought we would be able to tell stories through four seasons. That's the way we set it up," he explained.
The "Girl Meets World" Season 4 was supposed to be "remarkable," Jacobs supplemented. Furthermore, the series’ maker clears up that he perceived "things end." However, he still believed that there are other networks interested in saving the show.
The outlet also added that Netflix would not adopt the canceled series. Whatever reasons of the streaming giant have in rejecting the show were unknown. Despite the refusal, there are still other platforms that might put the "Girl Meets World" Season 4 in reality.
According to Gosh TV, the restoration of "Girl Meets World" Season 4 may be revealed in a couple of months. In his latest interview, Jacobs speaks up regarding the show's renewal with other networks. Meanwhile, fans may still wait for any confirmed reports.
Disney Channel made its announcement earlier this year, and Jacobs was distressed due to the "Girl Meets World" Season 4 revocation. There were decent remarks for the series when the network ended the show. Jacobs, on the other hand, is now setting off to expose his real feelings about the show's cancellation.
A recent report claimed that the "Girl Meets World" Season 4 was canceled by Disney since it shifted from the storyline. It was mentioned that the series eventually jumped to feature more mature stories. This matter might be the reason why the child-friendly network decided to air the "Girl Meets World" finale in Jan. 20. As for that, the channel is yet to confirm the issue.
