Verizon customers are now getting a hassle-free subscription. The company announced on Monday that it will be offering a pre-paid service for FiOS fiber-optic data, voice and television package.
The new easy access plan is called FiOS Prepaid, Engadget reported. This doesn't require any form of subscription. The customers will rather pay using a debit card online every month. Another is, they can also pay in cash at every kiosk located at a certain Verizon Wireless store.
The pre-paid subscription will offer 25Mbps internet including Wi-Fi router that is payable every month at a price of $60. Customers can also add 155 TV channels for a monthly fee of $40-50. Furthermore, they can add 200 channels including 35 HD Spanish-language stations for $40 or basic phone service for $10 a month.
The good news is, users can avail the three services as a package for $110-$120 per month, data, and TV for $100-$110, or data and voice for $70. They can set up it for themselves or pay $90 for the installation fee.
Unfortunately, Fios service is not yet available worldwide. It's only offered in selected outlets along the East Coast. This includes particularly New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Delaware as well as the DC Metro area and around Boston.
The Verizon FiOS Prepaid plan is apparently the first "triple play" prepaid FiOS alternative from Verizon, Slash Gear reported. It offers an option that containing lesser limitations for users who can't avail or those unwilling to take the standard FiOS service.
In fact, Verizon is confident about the services that the FiOS Prepaid plan offered. From that, it will attract certainly many customers, especially that the subscription is effortless.
Moreover, users don’t oblige to purchase any supplies separately. The service is going to be available in any place where the regular Fios plans are introduced.
