Apple's iPhone 8 and OnePlus 5 are two among the most-awaited flagship devices of 2017. Many tech enthusiasts are keen on finding the best specs and features that work for them.

According to AndroidPit, OnePlus 5 is expected to run on latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It's also said to arrive with ceramic or glass chassis and USB Type-C for connectivity and dual curved edges like the Samsung S7 Edge.

OnePlus 5 is said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage and large 4,000mAh battery pack. If speculations are true, this new flagship might come in a “black as midnight” color.

Furthermore, OnePlus 5 is reported to arrive with 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 4K resolution for a high-definition video experience. The handset is also said to pack a new 3D technology for 3D streaming videos.

Some report also claims that OnePlus 5 will come in two versions. The 128GB model with up to 256 GB expandable memory and the 64GB version. For better photography performance, the iPhone killer is likely to sport 23MP rear camera and 16MP front camera.

Apple’s iPhone 8, on the other hand, will arrive pre-installed with iOS 11 software and engineered with an in-house A11 processor. Unlike the OnePlus 5, it’s expected to have an internal storage space of approximately between 64 and 256 GB with 3 GB RAM, Gizbot reported. This highly-anticipated flagship was also reported to come in all glass or entirely ceramic body, long-range wireless charging, 3D front-facing camera and could replace Touch ID.

Both OnePlus 5 and iPhone 8 presented striking specs and features. However, the decision of buyers still depends on their preferences, which may be on the two flagships' price tags. One thing is for sure, iPhone 8 is more expensive than the OnePlus 5. Moreover, the latter is seemingly the best pick since it's a powerful smartphone with a reasonable price.
