"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 13 first two episodes got a low rating. The matriarch of the show, Kris Jenner is not happy about it.
According to Headline Planet, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 13 made a falling number of viewers. The first family of reality TV took a 33% decrease in rating as compared to season 12 that premiered on May 1, 2016.
The news outlet noted that there were only around 1.48 million viewers who watched the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 13. This means that there were 700,000 less people who didn’t watch the newest season than season 12, which garnered 2.19 million viewers last year.
As a matter of fact, Kris even offered Kim a huge reward like she has never done before. The said bonus is to be given for the upcoming season, a source claimed, calling it “Jenner’s paycheck: a last-ditch effort to save the franchise."
“Kim and Kris both seem to think that their fans only really care about seeing Kanye’s breakdown and the aftermath of Kim’s robbery in Paris,” continued the insider. It can be recalled that Kim’s husband, Kanye West, suffered a mental breakdown following the death anniversary of his mother in 2016.
According to E! News, Kim's attacker grabbed one of her rings with an estimated cost of $4.9 million. A jewelry box containing around $5.6 million worth of jewelry was also robbed from her.
The gunpoint robbery incident happened on Oct. 2, 2016, inside her hotel room in Paris. The revelation of the full story was boring for fans and this reportedly led to a significant slip on the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 13 rating.
This is not actually the first time the show obtained a falling rating. It was also reported previously that Aug. 28, 2016, episode caused the show's first time in history low rating with 866,000 viewers. Now, the current status of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 13 causes speculations of cancellation.
