Swarms of Ariana Grande fans started a petition on Twitter, urging the cancellation of "The Wendy Williams Show" for the host's alleged body-shaming comments against the petite singer.

The hashtag #CancelWendyWilliamsShow went viral on the social media platform around the world when host Wendy Williams commented on Ariana Grande's height and body.

"She's 21. She'll forever look 12," Williams said of Grande, according to the report by E Online. "And I don't mean that in a good way. It's nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young and then you're short-she's only like 4'11". I don't look at her as, like, a woman."

Many of Grande's fans expressed their wrath on Twitter and flooded the micro-blogging site with messages that show support for the "Bang Bang" singer.

Some of the tweets under the hashtag included:

"see what happens when u make uniformed statements, judge & bully as if ur perfect. Learn to be more humane & kind #CancelWendyWilliamsShow," said a tweet from Cai Cai.

"being a real woman has nothing to do with your size or the way your face looks. #CancelWendyWilliamsShow," a tweet coming from Twitter user stephanie said.

Other more creative fans of Grande used Vine and gifs to drive their point home.

A particular tweet with a short video from user kAyLa illustrated William's "hypocisy."

"I'm just going to drop this here #CancelWendyWilliamsShow," user kAyLa tweeted.

Just a few weeks ago, Grande was embroiled in a controversy of her own. The popstar issued two separate apologies after a video of the 22-year-old licking doughnuts inside Wolfee Donuts, a shop in Southern California, went viral.

The singer apologized after the video caught her saying: "What the f*** is that? I hate Americans. I hate America," according to Inquisitr.

The shop's health rating dropped from "A" to "B," however, it wasn't because of the doughnut licking fiasco.

"Wolfee Donuts inspection score was reduced from an A to B because their dishwashing machine wasn't up to standards," Riverside County Deputy Director Keith Jones was quoted as saying.

The "Love Me Harder" singer issued her second apology online for the incident.

"The advances we've made in the last couple of months, all the wonderful progressive things that have been going on - I've never been prouder of this country actually," Grande said in the video she posted on Youtube that has already been made private as of this writing. "Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you have no idea was taken, is such a rude awakening, that you don't know what to do. I was so disgusted with myself."
