'Tekken 7' characters revealed so far, according to rumors

The upcoming "Tekken 7" introduces new playable characters to join their roster of fighters. It has been revealed that the new character coming from the Mishima family is none other than Heihachi's wife, Kazumi Mishima.

There are seven playable characters that have been revealed so far by Bandai with Kazumi as the latest addition.

1.) Kazumi Mishima

Kazumi Mishima, the wife of Heihachi, could possibly be the mother of Kazuya and the grandmother of Jin despite looking quite young, according to the International Business Times. The new character was first seen in the teaser trailer released by Bandai Namco, and it was revealed that Kazumi could summon a tiger into battle. According to IGN, Kazumi will be the final boss in the seventh Tekken game and will transform into a devil similar to Kazuya and Jin in the previous games.

2.) Katarina Alves

Katarina is a female Brazilian character in "Tekken 7" with a "Savate" fighting style. According to Avoiding the Puddle, she will be "sassy mouthed" and was designed to be "beginner friendly."

 3.) Claudio Serafino

Claudio is of Italian descent and has a fighting style called "Sirius Styled Purification Sorcery," according to Tekkenpedia. The website added that Claudio has a black tattoo that will be visible when he uses his powers.

4.) Lucky Chloe

Lucky Chloe's introduction by Tekken creator Katsuhiro Harada garnered a lot of mixed reactions from the game's fans. IGN reported that fans thought of Lucky Chloe as "suitably wacky and grimly predictable." Her Tekkenpedia page says she will have a "Freestyle Dance" fighting technique, and added that she is not Japanese but a big fan of Japanese culture.

 5.) Shaheen

Shaheen is the first playable character in Tekken that is of Saudi Arabian accent, according to Kotaku. According to his Tekkenpedia, Shaheen will have a "Military Fighting Style."

6.) Josie Rizal

Josie is the first Filipino character in the game series, and like Lucky Chloe, she has received a lot of flak. During her reveal, Philippine officials were dismayed and called for Harada to change her name at it is slightly altered from the country's national hero's name, Jose Rizal.

Despite the positive reviews from Filipino fans, Harada expressed that he might remove Josie from the character roster if officials will continue to insist with the name change.

"If Josie can't get supported in the Philippines, we give her up anytime. TEKKEN7 arcade board has a network update system. We can change plan and change characters anytime & quickly," Harada said in the report by Kicker Daily.

According to her Tekkenpedia, Josie will have an Eskrima and Kickboxing fighting style.

7.) Gigas

Gigas is a mysterious character, with his origins unknown. According to Tekkenpedia, his fighting style is Destructive Impulse. A report by Cinema Blend suggests that Gigas could be Marduk as their fighting styles are similar.
