Blake Lively reveals the secret of her great post-baby bod after giving birth to baby daughter James.
Blake Lively, 28, recently gave birth to her first daughter, James, with husband Ryan Reynolds over the holidays last year. Just a few months after her pregnancy, the actress looked stunning with her post-baby bod while promoting her movie "The Age of Adaline" earlier this year. The "Gossip Girl" alum shared her workout secret: her trainer Don Saladino.
Lively posted a silly picture of her and Saladino on Instagram and captioned it with: "This fit dude, @donsaladino NOSE how to kick my butt (see what I did there) #WhyIsCelluliteIsSoMuchCuterOnBabies You'll die over his training on Broadway. Officially a maniac. Which is of course why we get along."
Saladino told PEOPLE how Lively bounced back to her slim figure, and the key was moderation and adhering to the 80/20 rule in diet and exercise.
"Even with her eating and staying active, everything is in moderation. She still enjoys the tasty treats in life." Saladino told the magazine. "Eighty percent of the time during the week, be really good—and then 20 percent, live a little bit."
Lively's husband, Reynolds, joked and gushed about their baby daughter, James. US Magazine reports that Reynolds avoids talking about his daughter publicly.
"[It's] sort of annoying to [tweet about your child] publicly," Reynolds said. "So I usually go the other way, and write silly jokes about how my daughter's terrible with her art... I had a friend who said, 'My kid is 2, and already quoting Chekhov.' And I was like, 'Your kid's a genius, and probably an a--hole.'"
Jokes aside, the "Deadpool" actor revealed his tender side.
"Everybody thinks their son or daughter is God's gift to air. And in their home, they are," he explained. "When I'm in my private moments, I look at my daughter and go, 'You are the most amazing creature I've ever seen in my life.'"
Reynolds also praised his wife and jokingly recalled the moments while Lively was delivering their daughter.
"My wife is the real, I mean she is a mercenary," Reynolds said in an interview on "Conan" as reported by People Magazine. "At one point in the middle of the delivery, the doctor's cell phone went off and she said, 'Oh, no. Go ahead, take a personal call. Feel free.' She was cracking jokes in the delivery room. She may have been on drugs, but I don't ask personal questions."
