Tris and Four go beyond the wall in the newly released trailer for the upcoming movie "Allegiant."

The official teaser was released Tuesday and gives us the first glimpse of outside the walls of post-apocalyptic Chicago as Tris, Four and the gang go beyond it.

The first half of the trailer shows a recap of the first two movies of the "Divergent" series where we have come to know that Tris (played by Shailene Woodley) is actually a Divergent when she decided to transfer to the Dauntless faction coming from Abnegation. The recap also showed how Four (played by Theo James) helped Tris and how they have grown to love one another despite their circumstance. It also showed how Tris, Four, Caleb (played by Ansel Elgort) and their friends battled against Jeanine (played by Kate Winslett) and her plans against the Abnegation.

"For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city," Lionsgate said in a press release, according to the report by E! Online. "Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths.

Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago and threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love."

Past the 0:50 mark we finally see new footage of the gang using grappling hooks to scale the wall and we see bits and pieces of what the world is outside the wall. The trailer is packed with promising action scenes and mysteries.

We also see a new character, David, played by Jeff Daniels who tells Tris that she might hold the key to saving the world.

"He's actually a good guy. Maybe he ends up doing some things that fall on the bad guy end, but he wants to help people," the report by E! said. "He wants to save humanity."

The "Divergent" series are based on the trilogy books of the same name by Veronica Roth. According to Variety, the last two movies of the series were initially named "Allegiant: Part 1" and "Allegiant: Part 2" but were renamed to "Allegiant" and "Ascendant." According to Pop Sugar, the recurring cast includes Miles Teller as Peter, Zoe Kravitz as Christina, Naomi Watts as Evelyn, Octavia Spencer as Amity leader Johanna, Ray Stevenson as Marcus, Maggie Q as Tori.

"Allegiant" will be in theaters on March 18, 2016 in the U.S. and U.K.
