'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' season 10 rumors: are Rob Kardashian & Selena Gomez dating?

As Rob Kardashian slowly makes his way back into the limelight following his impressive weight loss, rumors are flying that he is now ready to date and has his eyes set on a certain pop singer. Life & Style reports that the 28-year-old Kardashian is looking to date singer and actress Selena Gomez.

"[Selena] knows Rob but they are not starting to talk or discussing anything about becoming an item," a source said. "She would definitely hang out with him especially if it made Kris happy since she is friendly with Kris [Jenner] but it would be friendship only."

The Kardashian mama is friends with the 23-year-old singer, as the two became close last spring, Yibada reports. According to a source, "Selena is just Rob's type. He is totally crushing on her. Rob once called Selena his dream girl, and Kris has been plotting ever since."

Rob Kardashian is also rumored to make his comeback on the 11th season of E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and a love life would definitely make a good reality TV story line for the only male Kardashian in the family.

While Gomez has kept mum on the issue, she recently opened up about finding her identity as she created her latest record titled Revival. Entertainment Weekly reports that according to the singer, who appears on the cover of Flare's November issue, "I was really fighting for this transition. Ultimately, I’m not 16 anymore. I’m a young woman, and I’m growing up and trying to do it in a way I feel comfortable with."

Gomez added that as a former Disney actress, "I’ve lived my life in the public eye, and I’ve had to figure out how to do that. Ultimately, I am 23 and figuring out my life. I feel confident, I feel empowered, I feel in control."

Does this mean she's now ready to date again following her high-profile relationship with Justin Bieber? Gomez says she's currently dating.

ET reports that according to the 'Good for You' singer, "I go on dates. It's not that difficult—I'm a nice young lady—but that's not my focus. I'm really stoked about being with myself right now."

She added: "I've felt so much in the past two years, from being super in love and then dealing with things to getting older and all these beautiful experiences that were complicated and exciting."

It seems that Gomez will need a little bit more convincing before she dates Kardashian, but it looks as though it could give her a new outlook, dating a man 5 years her senior, as opposed to Bieber, who is a couple of years younger than her.
