'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Season 10: Khloe comforts ex-husband after his best friend's death; are they flirting?

It has been almost two years since Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from basketball player Lamar Odom, but the pair are still in contact, E! Online reports. During this weekend's Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe spoke to her ex-husband, providing emotional support after Odom's friend, Jamie Sangouthai, passed away.
Daily Mail reported that despite reports that Sangouthai died from heroin overdose, the real cause of death was a flesh-eating disease acquired from dirty needles. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner, "The exact terms are necrotizing fasciitis—bacterial skin infection—and chronic intravenous narcotism, which is IV drug abuse."
The Coroner said that Sangouthai "went to the hospital for the infected arm, but the disease spreads quickly and often becomes life threatening."
Sanghouthai was known to viewers as Odom's friend, who frequently made appearances in the reality show Khloe & Lamar from 2011 to 2012.
"Lamar's best friend since he was like 12 Jamie passed away unexpectedly," Khloe explained. "This is all just really upsetting. He's distraught and devastated."
The 31 year old reality star added that "Lamar has suffered so much loss in his life." Khloe may have been referring to Odom's youngest son, whom he lost to SIDS in 2006, ESPN reports.
"I feel a little lost at times. God is keeping me strong," Odom said of his son, Jayden's passing. "Sometimes, I need to be by myself, whether it's a week or two weeks. My family has been understanding. There was a time when I thought basketball wasn't going to be able to heal the
wound."
Khloe also said, "I'm always going to be there for Lamar, especially when something as tragic as this happens…I'm really on high alert for Lamar because anything will set him to spiral and that's kind of the last thing I want for him."
Khloe cited "irreconcilable differences" during their divorce, but the pair remain friendly. In fact, Khloe's sister Kim believes that they're too friendly.
"As a big sister I'm just really protective, and for her just to be flirting with him on the phone makes me sick to my stomach," Kim said.
ABC News reports that Kim told her sister, "I just can't take it. The fact that when he decides to come around and be friendly, you're like, flirting with him." Kim also claims that Khloe is being "way more attentive" to Odom than her other ex-boyfriends, including French Montana.
Khloe argued that Odom and Montana are not in the same category, putting an end to Kim's claims, but spurring rumors that she and Odom are now flirting with each other.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on E!
