Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom divorce: reality star not breaking up with James Harden despite still being married to the ex-NBA player

Reconciliation is not in the cards despite the fact that Khloe Kardashian withdrew her petition to divorce ex-basketball player Lamar Odom.

As a matter of fact, US Weekly reported that Khloe and recent love James Harden are trying to make their relationship work despite her decision to take a break and look after husband, who is still recovering after being found unconscious at a brothel on Oct. 13.

The "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star has not left her husband's side since then, accompanying him as he was airlifted to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Oct. 19.

Speaking about the estranged couple, a source has shared that "As of now, Khloe and Lamar are not romantically together."

"Khloe and James are trying to stay in each other's lives. Each day is something different, but they're trying to see if they can still be together."

People reported that the 31-year-old daughter of Kris Jenner has finally spoken about the incident in an exclusive interview. Khloe revealed she only had one thing in mind upon learning Lamar's hospitalization: "All I knew was I had to get there."

She added that: "I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. I hate that he was in that situation. I wouldn't want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about."

While she remains committed to Lamar's recovery, she said that staying together is the last thing on her mind. "There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."

"I loved him always, and I will always love him," she explained. "I don't believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don't have to be with that person in order to love him."

Of Lamar's medical progress, Khloe is careful not to make any pronouncements. "The fact that he woke up was definitely a sigh of relief for everybody," she said. "Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down but he's awake. He's alive and that's all I wanted, was for him to be okay."

Khloe said she feels the future remains uncertain as Lamar has quite a journey ahead of him. "He has to walk that road by himself, and, most importantly, he has to want to walk that road. I will be there supporting him every step of the way," she said.
