'Uncharted 4' trailer, gameplay, release date, news & update: new multiplayer mode on PS4 revealed [VIDEO]

Watch the trailer for the upcoming multiplayer mode for "Uncharted 4" for which the beta will be released on PS4 on Dec. 4.
The brand new trailer for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was released during the game's press conference at Paris Game Week and it focused on the online multiplayer mode. According to Engadget, main character Nathan Drake along with Sam Drake, Chloe Frazer and Victor Sullivan will be playable ffor this mode.
It is worth noting that there are new features in the multiplayer game. Players will get a sidekick to help you look after your allies and keep tabs on the enemies. According to the Verge, the beta for the multiplayer mode will be available from Dec. 4-13 on the PS4. It will only be playable for Team Deathmatch if you own the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection." The game will be officially launched on March 18, 2016.
It was revealed during the press conference that the game will run smoothly at 900p/60fps. Robert Cogburn, Naughty Dog's Lead Multiplayer Designer released some more information about the online mode.
Cogburn revleaed that the online multiplayer matches will be 5v5 with 10 players max at each time. Additionally, they won't be using dedicated servers but have a host so "it's still peer to peer." As for the maps, there will be and they will all be new, PlayStation Lifestyle reports.
"I can tell you for ship we will not have vehicles, but it is something we're hoping to tackle in the future," Cogburn said when asked about the studio's plan to add vehicles.
iDigital Times reports that there will be in-game microtransactions. The multiplayer mode of "Uncharted 4" will have an arcade vibe so acquiring weapons and power-ups can be very advantageous. These bonus items, weapons, powers and unlocks can be acquired through the in-game currency system so if you're looking to get easy upgrades, this may be the easiest way to do so.
However, Naughty Dog has emphasized that microtransactions will not give other players advantage over others. You can acquire rare items through earning it and grinding through levels.
Microtransactions will be available at launch, but we'll have no gameplay items that will be gated through microtransactions," Cogburn told Game Spot in an interview.
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will officially be available on the market on March 18, 2016. The beta for the multiplayer mode will be released to PS4 on Dec. 4 of this year.
