Bikini season may be over, but not for Blake Lively, who is currently shooting her upcoming film The Shallows in Australia. The 28-year-old actress, who gave birth to her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds in December last year, has gotten her pre-baby body back with help from trainer Don Saladino.

The Gossip Girl actress wasn't keen on rushing to drop the baby pounds, as she told BBC earlier this year, "There's pressure to lose it, or women are like supposed to look like they did when they were 19 right after you give birth to your child, I think it's silly."

Lively admitted that she's a breastfeeding mom and that it helped with the weight loss, but she was "not really obsessing" over dropping pounds, with having a family to care for.

Saladino recently opened up to People about Lively's exercise regimen that she had to undertake in preparation for The Shallows, which according to Deadline was formerly titled In the Deep, follows a young woman who recently lost her mother and later gets stranded on a buoy off shore, where a great white shark stands in the way of her getting back to shore.

While the film would require Lively to wear swimwear, according to Saladino, "This is way beyond having her just look great in a bikini. That’s important, but it’s about keeping her energy level high and making sure that, day in and day out when she’s shooting this film, her recovery is optimal."

The trainer said that their workouts involved upper body workouts for a day for a day, lower body workouts the following day, and a pool workout with several laps. Lively would also focus on exercising her arms and shoulders and do workouts with various intensities. But Saladino advised to always listen to one's body.

"When you feel great, get on it. When you don’t feel great, shift down a gear," he said. "And when you feel like complete crap do really minimal work."

Saladino said that while her workout sounds like a lot, they weren't at a gym for hours on end. In fact, they would only work together for about an hour because Lively has a busy schedule, with having a child to care for and a film to shoot.

The trainer also shared that Lively's exercise regimen was paired with a diet that was gluten-free, with four small meals a day. He also admitted to using coconut oil in her diet. Saladino said, "The way that we did it was the right way, and it wasn’t through starving her."

Columbia Pictures' Jaume Collet-Serra directed film, "The Shallows" is set for a June 24, 2016 release, Variety reports.
