'Kingdom Hearts 3' trailer, gameplay, news & updates: Square Enix speaks up about lack of trailer

Some of the huge fans of "Kingdom Hearts 3" were left visibly upset when their hopes and excitement towards the game's highly anticipated trailer were dashed. The reports regarding the new trailer turned out to be inaccurate.
Dan Seto, manager at Square Enix Europe, took the time to respond through a forum in one of their websites to address the issue regarding these false claims about the trailer, according to Gaming Bolt.
"Come on guys you should know better than to trust news reports that don't even have any sources! We never announced that any trailer would be released and in general, you should be more cautious about rumours. We also sort of did release an official statement/message."
Seto was referring to a Twitter message to their fans two days prior, wherein the company said that they will make sure to keep the fans posted for further details. "We want to thank you all for your support and will let you know when we have more to share," according to the Twitter account of Kingdom Hearts.
The disappointment and frustration from the fans grew even bigger when they felt they were left hanging after waiting for the official trailer a day after the preview of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer and the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" trailer were shared by Square Enix at the D23 Expo in Japan last Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The screenshots for the "Kingdom Hearts 3" shows main characters Sora, Goofy and Donald riding on the Shooting Ride attraction, Game Spot wrote. Some Disney fans pointed out its resemblance to the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride at Disneyland, which has prompted more speculations regarding the possibility of the inclusion of a world from Pixar's "Toy Story" film. The officials from Square Enix have remained mum on this and, so, a lot of these speculations should be taken with a grain of salt for the moment so as to avoid another letdown.
The screenshot for "Dream Drop Distance HD" shows some of the main characters from the series, such as Mickey, Kairi, Riku and Roxas, in battle formation; while the "Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage" screenshot shows Yen Sid, King Mickey, Riku and Kairi having a conversation in the Mysterious Tower.
The action RPG "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One—the first from the series to be featured on a Microsoft platform.
