Caitlyn Jenner is drawing a lot of flak for winning Glamour's 'Woman of the Year Award' and her replies during a Buzzfeed interview. During the interview, the former Olympian was asked about the hardest part about being a woman to which Jenner replied, "The hardest part about being a woman is figuring out what to wear."
Rose McGowan had taken issue on this quote by posting this reply on Facebook:
"Caitlyn Jenner you do not understand what being a woman is about at all."
"You're a woman now? Well f-ing learn that we have had a VERY different experience than your life of male privilege."
Although the actress deleted her original message, she recently shared a series of graphic memes that included Jenner's now infamous quote.
The formed Charmed star was criticized for her comments towards Jenner, with commenters accusing her of being transphobic. A day after posting and deleting her message on Facebook, McGowan posted this response on her Twitter account @rosemcgowan:

Upon hearing of Jenner receiving the award, Sydney Morning Herald says the husband of slain 2001 'Woman of the Year' award recipient, Moira Smith, returned his wife's award via Fed-Ex with the following statement:
"I can only guess that this was a publicity stunt meant to resuscitate a dying medium. After discussing this slap in the face to the memory of our Hero with my family, I have decided to return Moira's award to Glamour magazine."
In 2001, Glamour magazine awarded Moira Smith the same award that Jenner received for her efforts during the Sept. 11 attacks. CNN says Mrs. Smith was one of the police officers who died during 9/11.
Witnesses say that female cop was last seen going into the collapsing building and attempting to rescue more people. Mrs. Smith was the only female officer who died that day.
The general reaction on Twitter has been of shock and bewilderment. Several tweets commented on how Jenner could have won the award as the athlete has only made the transition during the last few months.

In an official statement to The Huffington Post, a spokesperson for Glamour said that they stood by their decision to present the 'Woman of the Year' award to the former American decathlete.
"Caitlyn Jenner has helped shine a light on the problems faced by transgender youth and given voice to a community that is often unheard. Glamour's Women of the Year Awards recognizes brave, bold women who in their individual ways have all made a significant difference in the world."
