"Captain America: Civil War" is set for release in cinemas on May 6, 2016. This sets off phase 3 of Marvel's line of movies spanning another three years, says Geek.
According to Movie Pilot, the official trailer for the movie is not due until December, coinciding with premiere of 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens' in cinemas worldwide. However, this has not stopped members of the cast from revealing small snippets of information about the upcoming Avengers movie.
This time it comes from actor Paul Bettany who will be playing Vision. While talking to Comic Book Movie interviewers, the British celebrity dishes out more details about his character and role in the movie.
"What I love about my character is that there are so many places for him to go. I think he's very interested in what it means to be human and what love is."
"The only way one can guarantee one's loyalty is love. Loyalty is beyond logic, really."
"Logic doesn't really provide for loyalty. If your logic changes suddenly and things not make sense, you can alter your allegiance, but love stops you from being able to do that."
Kpop Starz sources indicate that the Bettany may be hinting at a possible romance between Vision and the Scarlet Witch.
Movie Pilot speculates that the couple will be like Romeo and Juliet, star-crossed lovers on opposing teams. Vision is expected to side with Stark as "he did kinda create Vision in the first place" while Movie News Guide says Scarlet Witch will be on Captain America's team.
The relationship between the two Avengers has been covered in the comics and the two were even married at one point. Both characters already appeared in the 'Age of Ultron' movie, although there was not enough to indicate that a romantic relationship was developing between the two.
With the absence of Thor and Hulk in the upcoming movie, a budding romance between Vision and the Scarlet Witch could make up for Black Widow's relationship with Hulk and Hawk Eye.
Bettany also had something to say about the change in the directing style between the two Avenger movies. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" was directed by Joss Whedon while "Captain America: Civil War" had Joe and Anthony Russo.
According to the actor, it was a great to be working with two directors. With such a big cast, having two directors assures that the actors have someone to refer to on what to do or what is coming up next.
