Filmgoers have been abuzz since it was announced this year that two of 2015's biggest stars, Jennifer Lawrence ("Hunger Games", "X-Men") and Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy", "Jurassic World") were coming together to star in a sci-fi film titled "Passengers" as none other than lovers.

Lawrence, who is a total pro at most things (including recovering from embarrassing moments at high profile events) shared that filming her sex scene with co-star Pratt was a "bizarre" experience, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The 25-year-old actress told The Hollywood Reporter during the Actress Roundtable special, "I had my first real sex scene a couple weeks ago [while shooting Passengers with Chris Pratt], and it was really bizarre. It was really weird."

"It was weird. And everything was done right; nobody did anything wrong," she admitted. "It's just a bizarre experience."

What's even more bizarre is how rumors spread back in June that the 36-year-old "Parks and Recreation" star was cheating on his wife, actress Anna Faris, with Lawrence.

Faris, who has been married to Pratt since 2009 and has a son with him, told FOX411 that the rumors "has been a little devastating."

"For us it was like, ‘What the heck.’ This has been blindsiding to us," the 38-year-old actress said. "It has been weirdly stinging. [That] stung a little bit harder than I thought it would."

However, she confirmed that she and Pratt "have an incredible relationship. I am very lucky that I am with a man that we both value family."

Meanwhile, Lawrence shared that in preparation of her intimate scene with Pratt, she thought getting drunk would be a good idea, which totally backfired.

"I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know'," Lawrence said.

"And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach," she explained. "And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, 'Will you just tell me it's OK?'"

Lawrence, who last appeared in the big screen with the last installment of "The Hunger Games" franchise, admitted, "It was just very vulnerable. And you don't know what's too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then...That was the most vulnerable I've ever been."

The Morten Tyldum directed "Passengers" is set to be released on December 21, 2016.
