Colton Haynes will be making a big comeback in the TV series "Arrow." No, he won't be playing a new character. Instead, he will be coming back as Roy Harper once again.

Some people might be confused as Roy had already died in the previous season of the TV series. Well, the series is making a big twist! The death of Roy is fake. He only faked it and now, he is coming back again.

Fans of Haynes will be very happy watching "Arrow" as he will be joining the team again.

The TVLine confirmed that the actor will be seen again in the series in 2016. Though the fans still have to wait until 2016 to see Haynes in action, the actor has already started shooting for his scenes. It was confirmed by a recent tweet tweeted by Haynes himself.

The tweet states "Just landed in Vancouver to...BEGIN FILMING ON #ARROW AGAIN!!! So excited!!!"

It seems like the fans are not the only ones excited for this announcement. Even Haynes is also very excited to reprise his character in the said TV series.

Aside from Haynes and his fans, the producers, executives, staff and the whole team of "Arrow" to have the actor back in the set again.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Marc Guggenheim, the executive producer of the series, said that their team has always planned to get Haynes return. They just needed the timing to revive his character in the show. He also said that they are very excited and thrilled to work with the actor for the show once again.

The executive producer is very excited to see the reactions of the fans after witnessing the reunion of Roy and Thea Queen, played by Willa Holland, who is the former girlfriend of Roy.

While many are anticipating the reunion of Roy and Thea, there are also a lot of fans who are worried as to what may happen considering that Roy has been long gone from the scene and Thea has developed a growing relationship with his brother's campaign strategist.

Aside from this, another reason why the reunion might be a bittersweet one is because of Thea's strong bloodlust when Lazarus Pit resurrected her.

The next episodes of "Arrow" will surely be an exciting, surprising and intriguing one. Fans can't wait for 2016 so they can see Haynes in the series again.

"Arrow" airs in CW every Wednesday night.
