Rumor has it that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are going to be wed before Christmas this year because the two have a child together and Mendes has been waiting for boyfriend Gosling to propose. However, another rumor states that Gosling wants to have another baby to save their relationship.
Mendes, 41, gave birth to daughter Esmeralda Amada on Sept. 21, 2014, fathered by Gosling, 35. The two are reportedly going to be wed after the former posted a photo of an emerald ring on Instagram.

According to Daily Mail, the ring looked like an "unconventional engagement ring" as it was worn on the actress' right hand.
"Though the piece of jewelry is on her right hand and not on her left, it would not be unlike the 2 Fast 2 Furious star to wear an engagement ring out in public, but put it on the wrong hand so as to throw off fans," the outlet wrote. "After all, Mendes managed to never be photographed with her baby bump the entire nine months she was pregnant in 2014."
However, E! Online argues that the green ring could be given by Gosling to honor their baby daughter's birth as "Esmeralda" in Spanish is Emerald in English. Mendes' rep declined to comment on the ring so it may just well be pure speculation.
Another rumor states that Mendes gave her boyfriend an ultimatum that they wed before Christmas or their relationship is over.
"[They've] talked about getting married for well over two years before she got pregnant!" the source said, as reported by Enstarz. "It's getting ridiculous and she's told him she's not sure about their future together if he hasn't got a ring on her finger over Christmas."
Mendes was rumoredly against the idea of having their daughter "out of wedlock" but the site claims that Gosling is "terrified of marriage."
Life & Style Mag reports a different thing. They cited Radar Online which claims that Gosling wants to have baby number 2 in order to stay together with Mendes, but the latter doesn't want more.
The "Notebook" actor reportedly went to vent his frustrations by talking to his co-star Emma Stone.
"He told her he feels like he's always in trouble with Eva," the source told the mag. However, Stone wasn't expecting for Ryan to act like he is "so miserable and withdrawn" believing that fatherhood would change her friend. However, the couple still loves each other despite the hardships, the source claimed.
