And, here are some of the most noteworthy takeaways from the newest trailer of the film about "the greatest gladiator match in the world."

Too Much of a Reveal?

There are fans who did not take delight over what they deemed as a trailer that also served as one of the major spoilers so far. Some felt like they have already seen the entirety of the movie and that the whole storyline were given away after watching the clip. And, of course, there is the Doomsday character's revelation, while confirming what many expected that the two main protagonists will eventually team up in the end.

Speaking of the Doomsday DC Entertainment turned to the supervillain to give our superheroes a worthy opponent; after all, the guy was known for killing Superman. But, fans were not so impressed with Doomsday's menacing look, which many took the time to poke fun at in the social media. Some said it looked like E.T., we can say in steroids while others thought he could simply pass for the fifth member of the ninja turtles.

Wonder Woman is The Bomb

Superman: "Is she with you?" Batman: "I thought she was with you?" Yeah, even the two were dazed just as much as most fans with the sudden appearance of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman character all suit up in her warrior princess costume. It was not just Batman whom she saved the day for, that entrance was just epic.

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor The "Zombieland" actor plays the role of Lex and while some of his fans are excited about this, many were left disappointed with his take on the character. Some said that it went too far from the original and even likened it to the Riddler and the Joker characters. Well, probably, DC is taking a page from the success of Loki's character in the other universe.

Is Zack Snyder the right man for the job?

Some have already been comparing Christopher Nolan's work on the "The Dark Knight" series. Well, this one is pretty subjective and I think it is best to wait for the actual movie first before making any premature judgement.

The upcoming DC film will have March 25, 2016, as its release date in the U.S. For its cast, Henry Cavill, Affleck and Gadot will be joined by Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter as Sen. Finch.
