"X-Men: Apocalypse" isn't arriving until May next year, but Marvel has something to pacify fans until the highly-anticipated film hits theaters worldwide. Screenrant reports that the studio released an image of Archangel with his wings on full display during The Comic-Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Unlike the concept art that was previously released, the new image features the Archangel with his back turned and wings open, featuring details of each and every one of his feathers.

Additionally, it seems that Marvel will be releasing the first "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer very soon, as a listing on the Alberta Film Ratings website reads that the trailer is rated PG and will run for two minutes and 24 seconds. Comic Book reports that the first trailer has actually been shown at the Italian film industry summit CinemaDays Sorrento and may be the similar footage shown during the San Diego Comic-Con. Italian site Cinefilos has released (in Italian), a description of the film's trailer. Here is the description in English, as per Comic Book.

The trailer opens with Jean Grey waking from a nightmare. She tells Professor Xavier something along the lines of, “I have seen the end of the world. There was only death.”

There’s a montage of footage of the young mutants at Xavier’s school, followed by a scene of Moira MacTaggert telling Xavier that they’ve discovered a god-like mutant who may be the origin of the species.

Cut to a shot of an intimidating hooded figure being followed by Psylocke and Storm. They search for mutants, and the hooded figure lists the many names he has been known by over the centuries. He says that the world needs to change, and be remade by mutants. The three of them find Magneto. Magneto asks, “Who are you?” The figure pulls down his hood to reveal the face of Apocalypse.

There’s a montage of the destruction caused by Apocalypse.

We see a shot of Xavier looking frightened. Either he or Jean says, “It can control all of us.” We’re shown two opposing groups of mutants (likely Apocalypse’s Horsemen and Xavier’s students and/or allies). Apocalypse sends a burst of energy through Xavier and his wheelchair, and Jean screams

There’s a slow motion scene of Quicksilver running through the hallway leading towards Cerebro.

Mystique tells Xavier, “I came to fight.”

Professor X enters the Cerebro chamber, and his eyes become black. He says, “I’ve never felt like this before,” and is possibly possessed by Apocalypse.

The final shot is of a bald Professor X.

The Brian Singer directed film brings back James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, and Josh Helman to reprise their "Days of Future Past" roles, and adds Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), and Alexandra Shipp (Storm) to the cast. The screenplay was written by Simon Kinberg.

Watch out for the trailer of "X-Men: Apocalypse" which will debut right before the showing of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on December 18. "X-Men: Apocalypse" will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
