The Nokia Lumia 929 smartphone is on sale but in China.
The latest Windows Phone 8 smartphone, speculated to debut in the United States (U.S.) with Verizon Wireless, was spotted in China for ¥3,800, or $628 when converted to the U.S. dollar.
The Lumia 929 can be purchased from China's TaoBao, an online marketplace.
The Lumia 929's specifications include a 5-inch AMOLD display with 1,920x1,080.
The memory features for the alleged Verizon Wireless device includes a 32GB internal storage model with 2GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is not included with the Lumia 929.
The Lumia 929 sports a 20-megapixel PureView rear-facing camera. The 20 megapixels, however, is split to 16 megapixels and 5 megapixels pending on the purpose of the photos. A front-facing camera is also included with the Windows Phone 8 device along with dual LED flash.
In regards to the wireless connectivity, the Lumia 920 sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and NFC.
With its Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.2GHz, the Lumia 929 has a battery capacity of 3,400mAh.
The device's color options are black and white.
"The seller [from TaoBao] seemingly has several Lumia [929] units, all 'imported,' and asks $628 (3,800 CNY) for each," noted PhoneArena. "Around $600 is probably close to what Verizon will ask for the new handset sans contract."
Nokia and Verizon Wireless have not confirmed the Lumia 929's existence in either China or U.S. The Lumia 929 has been touted to be the successor of the Lumia 928.
