Following the release of the three previous episodes at a shorter than expected time interval, it seems like there is no letting the thrill and excitement die down even for just one bit for the "Minecraft: Story Mode" fans. The launch of the fourth installment in the series was confirmed by no less than the game developer itself, Telltale Games.
The company took it to its Twitter account to let the gamers now that "Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 4" has a release date sometime this month of December and before the turn of the year. They also assured the fans of the game that they would be rolling out more updates soon regarding the complete information about the game.
"@Minecraft: #StoryMode's EPIC 4th Episode has wrapped and will launch THIS MONTH! Stay tuned for news on the official release date!" Telltale wrote in its Twitter post on Dec. 9. "Ep 4 will also bring one story to a close, and the mysterious 5th Episode will follow in 2016. Full details soon!"
The upcoming episode will be called "Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 4: A Block and a Hard Place." Telltale Games also went on to saying that the season finale episode 5, which will be referred to as "Order Up" will soon follow in the coming year, the PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
And, although, the "A Block and a Hard Place" episode is just the penultimate episode in this five-part Minecraft series, Telltale's Job Stauffer said that, "in a lot of ways, episode 4 will act as a finale of sorts to [the] main arc."
According to iDigital Times, "Minecraft: Story Mode" is currently available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS and Android, while the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Wii U will also be released in 2016. And while the "Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 4" is still unavailable, the first three episodes are still up for grabs.
When it comes to the gameplay, the previous episode, "The Last Place You Look," was more action-packed as compared to episode 2, without compromising its suitability for gamers aged 10 to 12 years old, according to a BlogCritics' review, Jobs&Hire noted.
"Minecraft" is still not the game for everyone, especially, for those looking for high-octane and action-filled games, and impressive graphics. But, Telltale Games did a pretty good job with the "Minecraft: Story Mode" in terms of giving it a rich narrative experience typical of a good role-playing game (RPG).
