A new video clip has surfaced revealing what was claimed to be renders of the Samsung Galaxy S7 courtesy of uSwitch Tech and Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), from NoWhereElse.fr.

The video shows the new flagship mobile device from the Korean tech giant and gives credence to earlier rumors that the mobile device could also come in a super-sized phone that features a screen size of 6 inches, which presents itself as another worthy competitor against the other rival premium devices from what is turning out to be a saturated phablet market.

According to Hemmerstoffer, the leak renders was obtained from his reliable source and came from detailed blueprints that were supplied to third-party accessory manufacturers. These blueprints are usually handed down to the manufacturers of the phone's casing in order to ensure that there won't be any problem on the final product ahead of the launch.

Other specs and features include a dimension of around 163.40mm in length, 82.00mm wide and 7.82mm thick; a more rounded metal frame; and a standard micro-USB slot. This goes against previous rumors that the upcoming Galaxy phone would make use of a USB Type-C port. A lot of buyers are anticipating the Type-C USB because the new technology allows for faster data transfers and charging of battery.

Other features rumored to be incorporated in the upcoming Samsung device include a Super AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution, Android Marshmallow, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a processor, which could either make use of an Exynos 8890 chip or a Snapdragon 820 chipset.

According to a report from BGR, the 6-inch Galaxy S7 will be complemented by three other versions of the phone, which will each come in different sizes. The four variants of the upcoming Samsung smartphones: the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and Galaxy S7 Plus, appeared in a list leaked by @evleaks.

Apart from the Plus-sized Galaxy S7, the regular S7 will have a dimension of 143.37mm x 70.8mm x 6.94mm and a smaller 5.1-inch display. Other leaked photos of the Galaxy S7, like the one from Weibo which was also immediately taken out after posting, showed a wrap-around metal border design, according to a GSM Arena report.

However, most of these photos should, still, not be taken as 100 percent authentic or reliable. The Galaxy S7 is expected to be launch earlier next year in February and may have a release date some time in February or March.
