The Japanese arcade version of Bandai Namco Entertainment's "Tekken 7" will be featuring "Street Fighter's" Akuma, Gamespot reports. The trailer has been released, and the addition of Akuma to "Tekken 7" is part of the arcade update "Fated Retribution", which release date has not yet been disclosed. The update will feature more graphical improvements and other content.

According to Forbes, Akuma is in fact "integrally involved" in the "Tekken 7" story, as he was told by Kazumi Mishima to destroy Heihachi. The crossover will be an interesting dynamic to see for avid gamers of both "Street Fighter" and "Tekken 7."

Earlier this year, Attack of the Fanboy reported that Bandai Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that the game development company is looking to bring "Tekken 7" to PC. According to the report, Bandai Namco is "considering a PC version for certain countries that prefer or need to play on PC", but they have not "decided or confirmed platforms" for "Tekken 7" yet.

"Tekken 7" is currently at its beta stage following the unfinished release in March 18. The game uses the Unreal Engine 4 game engine, and was first announced in July last year after a video presentation of the game was leaked.

IGN reported in October during Sony's Paris Games Week 2015 Conference, Bandai-Namco announced that they are releasing "Tekken 7" for PlayStation 4 after the game arrives for consoles after the arcade version. Harada promised gamers exclusive content that would make PlayStation fans super excited.

"Tekken 7" features 28 playable fighters with 20 default cast upon launch, while the rest are added over time. New fighters include the Brazilian Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino, the otaku Lucky Chloe, the Saudi Arabian Shaheen, the Filipino woman Josie Rizal, the humanoid Gigas, Jack-7, Kazumi Mishima, and Akuma.

According to Polygon, "Tekken 7" will focus on a "very detailed background story" and will be the conclusion of the Mishima clan saga and will reveal why Heihachi is trying to eliminate his grandson, why Heihachi pushed Kazuya off a cliff, and the real identity of Devil Jin.

"Tekken 7" is created by Bandai Namco Entertainment, an arcade, mobile and home video game publisher based in Japan. Its mission is to "inspire people around the world and help them enjoy their time to the fullest", as the company aims to "unrelentingly seek out and take on new challenges as it aims to become the world's most admired video game maker."
