HTC One X9 Price, Specs, Release Date, Updates & Rumors: Smartphone Design Leaked in a Photo Shoot?
- comments
HTC fans have had enough of all the teasing already when it comes to the design and renders of the upcoming HTC One X9. There had been some leaked images circulating the web just recently including one from the website of TENAA, a telecom regulator in China, which made certifications for the mobile device.
The TENAA leaked photos, however, did not show the mobile device in its many angles. Then, there comes another set of leaked images from the web in China, which is rather more satisfying. The images of the HTC One X9 were leaked in all its glory in different angles and with close-up takes, reports Mobipicker. But, the real treat for the fans was unveiled just several hours after.
Apparently, one clever guy from China was able to snag a chance to lay his hands on the new HTC phone. Thankfully, he did the next best thing and did not waste the opportunity to get real-world photos of the HTC One X9. The shots were pretty convincing and it really looks like the mobile device is some supermodel posing for her most-anticipated photoshoot of the year. You can check out the photographer's work courtesy of the Chinese website Weibo.
Some of the initial rumors about the One X9 were confirmed by the live images like the presence of front-facing speakers, capacitive Android buttons, and its built on metal chassis. On the right side, we can find the SIM card slot, as well as the power and volume buttons, while the 3.5mm headset jack is at the top and the USB connector on the bottom side, wrote GSM Arena.
Some of the specs and features for the HTC One X9 according to the photo source include a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13-MP main camera with OIS, an UltraPixel front camera, the MediaTek MT6795 SoC (which has a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU), 2 or 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
But, based on the initial specs released by TENAA together with the photos, the One X9 will be powered by a 2.2GHz Quad Core chip and 2GB of RAM from a yet to be disclosed manufacturer. Also, revealed were the presence of the Boomsound stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel one in the front, wrote The Verge. There are no official word or updates regarding the price and release date on when it will be available as of yet, especially in the markets outside of China.
