Capcom announced in a Unity blog that the game is now playable in 4K and also comes ready to play at 60 frames per second. More than that, they have “uncapped” the frame rate, giving players with more powerful PCs the permission to enjoy the game in all its graphic sweetness. To capitalize on this, players are to set the frame rate to “variable” and enjoy the visuals.
Capcom also included some additional notes, saying that the game supports keyboard + mouse and XInput / DirectInput devices, which includes Xbox 360, Xbox One, DualShock and Steam Controller.
The game publisher also said that some high end integrated graphics chips and modern gaming laptops with a discrete GPU are not officially supported by Capcom. They may work, but they haven't been tested.
“Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen” is currently available for preorder on Steam priced at $29.99, and will be released January 16.
Features that will come with the game include the nine new achievements; option to mute Pawn chatter; remappable keyboard and mouse functions; customizable hot keys; as well as all of the previous game DLCs.
