Marvel's entry into the superhero slugfest next year is really getting enticing. Recently, a new concept art for “Captain America: Civil War” has been released and it shows great detail, not to mention that it can be a good poster for all fans out there.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the new promo art which showed Team Captain America and Team Iron Man fighting against each other was made by Marvel concept artists Andy Park and Ryan Meinerding. The illustrations are posted on Instagram, with both artists explaining who did which.
The full poster features both teams fighting each other, with a specific hero fighting against a specific hero. Chris Evans' Captain America appears to be engrossed in a fistfight with Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man in the center, while other heroes slug it out on both sides.

To the left, art created by Andy Park features Paul Rudd's Ant-Man pit against Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, with Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye close behind. Behind them, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlett Witch is shielding an attack from Paul Bettany's Vision.
To the right, art created by Ryan Meinerding features Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa/Black Panther fighting against Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. Behind them is Anthony Mackie's Falcon having a dogfight with Don Cheadle's War Machine.
Speaking of War Machine, a report has gone out saying that he has been given a new name. According to Cinema Blend, in “Captain America: Civil War,” he will be named “War Hammer.”
Fans will remember that, over the course of Don Cheadle's tenure as James Rhodes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his armored character has had a few change of names: “Iron Man 2” named him War Machine, “Iron Man 3” painted him with the American flag and named him the Iron Patriot and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” renamed him back to War Machine. Now, another name change has come.
CB reported that this information came from Total Film, which contains some concept art that comes with a blurb noting Rhodey's new name. Here's an excerpt:
“Old Shellhead's greatest ally, War Hammer (Don Cheadle) looks to get into a spot of bother in Civil War - the film's trailer shows his pulverised body being cradled by a distraught Tony. Could this be the end of the line?”
Although the blurb gives that name, it does not give any detail about Rhodes' role in the film. Fans will just have to wait for the movie to see how it plays out.
“Captain America: Civil War” premieres in theaters on May 6, 2016.
