'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' PS4 Release: Completed Part 1 Details Leaked; New 'World of Final Fantasy' Trailer Revealed

Fans are getting worried whether “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” will be making a better iteration of the highly acclaimed original or breaking it. Although that remains to be seen, good news has come in the form of new game details released.
According to an earlier report from Parent Herald, the upcoming remake will be released in an episodic manner.
“Final Fantasy 7 Remake” game director Yoshinori Kitase explained that working on a remake is already a huge endeavor, and making sure that the remake will contain the “feeling of density” that “Final Fantasy 7” had will mean that they will not be able to release the game in just one go. This is why they had to make episodic installments.
Now, Famitsu reported that Square Enix is already done with the scenario for episode one! Although the release date is still to be announced, it's good to know that the first part is up and coming. Here are the details:
- They want add delver further into Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie.
- They have an idea about the number of installments that will be released, but they’re not at the stage where they can say anything.
- They’re not talking about online right now.
- The scenario of the first part up until its ending is already complete.
- They’re getting technological assistance from the "Kingdom Hearts" team with "Unreal Engine 4," since they’ve been using it with "Kingdom Hearts III."
- Cloud’s hallucination scenes will be more meaningful.
- As for the cast, they’re continuing plans with the voice actors from "Advent Children," but there are some that still haven’t been offered yet. Red XIII only made a cameo appearance, so his voice is likely to be changed.
- Separate from Limit Breaks, there is another unique system. They can’t show it yet, but the it will be different depending on the player’s fighting style.
- Nothing has been decided about guarding yet.
In another “Final Fantasy” news, a new trailer for “World of Final Fantasy” has been revealed.
Kotaku reported that the trailer, revealed during the Jump Festa event in Japan, showed just how cute “Final Fantasy” characters could be. As the news outlet said, this game demonstrated how Square Enix can turn lovable characters into more lovable personas.
