Rihanna and Drake, who are both set to release new records very soon, are rumored to be working together for new music, the International Business Times reports. The news comes after a preview of a new track featuring the two singers surfaced online, courtesy of DJ Akademiks on Twitter. According to Inquisitr, DJ Akademiks posted a nine-second clip of a song that seemed to be from Drake's upcoming record, "Views From the 6." However, the tweet with the clip was deleted merely hours after it was posted.
DJ Akademiks explained via Twitter of the disappearance of the clip, "Remember that Snippet I tweeted out with Drake singing?? Turns out roc nation on behalf of Rihanna sent over noticed to remove."
"Basically, that song either not on Views or a collab wit Rihanna but could even be a reference for Rihanna..Who Knows.." he added to the mystery. However, he was adamant that it was not a publicity stunt or a ploy to get fans interested in both Drake and Rihanna's new music. He took to Twitter to share the notification he received about removing the content immediately because it was rightfully owned by Rihanna.

It seems that the final touches are being placed on Rihanna's highly anticipated "Anti," as she already unveiled the album art, announced the "Anti World Tour" featuring Travi$ Scott, Big Sean, and The Weeknd, and has been posting content on Instagram of what seems as either music videos or promotional videos for her new record.
However, "Diamonds" collaborator and songwriter Sia opened up to BBC Radio that Rihanna is still looking for more new songs for the record, Billboard reports.
Sia said, "The other night she came over and listened to half of 25 songs I played for her because she’s still looking for songs for her new album."
"She was there to listen to songs and see if there was anything that she was into. It was a business meeting for sure. She took four, but I don't know if they'll end up [on the album]," the singer/songwriter shared.
Nonetheless, it will be a merry Christmas for both Drake and Rihanna as The Verge reports that according to Spotify's annual year in review, the most-streamed artist of 2015 was Drake with 1.8 billion streams, and the most-streamed female artist is Rihanna, with over 1 billion streams. This is highly impressive for Rihanna, who has not released a record in a while, but released singles, including "B---- Better Have My Money." If this is any indication, people are indeed hungry for new music from both Drake and Rihanna, and fans will have to wait if that rumored collaboration will come to fruition.
