Fans are raving for Bandai Namco's fighting game “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” and, because the game developers haven't given a release date yet, the fans themselves are directly asking people in command of the production.
Attack of The Fanboy reported that a fan asked “Tekken 7” game director Katsuhiro Harada via Twitter if the game is coming to the PC. The game director replied with what fans could interpret as a green light.
I'm reading your request already!! RT @fox_watp What can fans do if they want PC release of Tekken 7 FR?

Apparently, that fan is only one of the many who are clamoring for the fighting game to be ported into the PC. Should Harada push through with it, this will be the first time in history that a “Tekken” game would be officially released for the PC.
“Fated Retribution,” however, is an update that is reportedly coming to the arcade version in Japan, with no release date for the U.S. just yet.
According to Movie News Guide, “Tekken 7” was a no-show during the recent PlayStation Experience event, causing anticipating fans to be disappointed. This is the time when all PlayStation games are being exhibited for fans and enthusiasts alike.
It seems fans will just have to wait.
In another news, “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” is said to have VR support. Though this is true, game designer Michael Murray revealed that it won't be how people expect it to be.
Speaking to Wired, Murray explained people are expecting that, since it has VR support, “Tekken 7” just might offer a first-person perspective while fighting. He said it won't be like that.
"I think people think we're going to incorporate VR into the main game itself, when we don't currently see a way that that would enhance Tekken to a new level better than what it would be right now,” said Murray.
He said that their VR plans are more about appreciating the game's roster, rather than beating them up. Instead of seeing an opponent from the character's point of view, the VR function will give players a better view of how cool the characters and their moves look like.
He said that a first-person VR experience will destroy the “Tekken” experience and turn it into "Punch Out."
"I think that's where the misconception comes in. We're not going to do that,” he said. “It doesn't lend itself to a fighting game well, so we want to find something that isn't that but still pleases fans.”
