At 46, Jennifer Aniston still maintains a slim and healthy figure.
Aniston's recent interview on Goop revealed what she does during the holidays. According to the actress, she does indulge on a few treats and foods but still keeps an eye on what she is eating to avoid having to exercise extra hard after the holidays.
"I always maintain a healthy regimen in terms of diet and exercise. It's pretty much been a part of my daily routine for years now so its second nature to me," said the actress.
According to E! Online, the film personality follows a healthy diet composed of vegetables. On most evenings, she eats a salad with proteins and vegetables but definitely "no tomatoes for lunch!"
One of her favorite snacks involves eating an apple with some almond butter. During busy nights, she runs to Whole Foods to check out the salad bar.
Another philosophy that the "Horrible Bosses 2" star holds dear is keeping the body well hydrated and getting lots of sleep. As one of the spokespersons for SmartWater, she admits to carrying bottles of water everywhere she goes, even carrying a cooler to keep the containers cool.
In terms of exercise, Aniston revealed that she liked performing a variety of exercises. "I like to mix it up with some Power Yoga, treadmill, elliptical machine, and low weight training," the actress mentioned during the interview.
A source close to Aniston indicated that the actress' husband, Justin Theroux, has recently taken a liking to Budokon. Aniston has been doing this form of yoga for years to enhance her upper body strength and improve her cardio.
"Jen's been into Budokon for years, and she and Courteney [Cox] used to do classes with well-respected martial arts teacher Cameron Shayne. Jen swears by it for upper body strength and cardio - and Justin's really into it now, too," the source told Female First.
When it comes to her flawless skin and youthful looks, Aniston credits those to treating her body right. For one, Aniston disclosed to Goop reporters that she does not go out into the sunlight as much as she did before.
On the other hand, she loves going to warm and sunny locations such as Mexico when she needs to unwind and relax. If she is unable to get away, the star would go for a massage or a spa treatment.
One of her indulgences involves trying out different facials. Regardless of how strange it may be, "Chances are I've tried them all!"
