The new “Season of Infamy: Most Wanted” DLC for “Batman: Arkham Knight” is now available for download.
Comic Book Resources reported that game developer Rocksteady Studios has announced that the December DLC is now available and has teased that more will be coming in 2016. Along with the unveiling of the new DLC comes a trailer, too.
The DLC features four of the Dark Knight's iconic enemies who will make their presence known in Arkham's world: The Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Ra's Al Ghul and Mr. Freeze. Players will be fighting these villains in their own separate missions, with each of them belonging in different story arcs.
Here's a quick summary of what's included in the DLC, courtesy of Gamespot, which include Warner Bros' description:
New “Season of Infamy” Missions:
“Wonderland:” The Mad Hatter makes things personal as the supervillain lures Batman into a demented, hallucinatory battle of wits across Gotham City and within the pages of a twisted story book.
“Beneath The Surface:” The World's Greatest Detective and Nightwing venture out to investigate Iron Heights, a flying airship prison that housed Killer Croc, after it crashed in the waters surrounding Gotham City.
“Shadow War:” Picking up after the events of "Batman: Arkham City," Batman's devout moral code is pushed to its limits as Ra's Al Ghul's health rebounds with the help of the League of Assassins.
“In From The Cold:” Mr. Freeze returns to Gotham City, where he is immediately entrapped in Arkham Knight's Militia and Scarecrow's plan to destroy Batman. Arkham Knight's Militia has kidnapped Nora and will return her to Mr. Freeze in exchange for Batman's capture.
Other content included in the “Season of Infamy” expansion pack includes:
New Batman skins: A new Batsuit based on 2008's “The Dark Knight” movie, and a reinforced leather batsuit found in the previously DC Comics exclusive “Batman: Noel” comic.
Two Batmobile skins: the original “Arkham Asylum” Batmobile, and a new Rocksteady-themed Batmobile skin.
New Crime Fighter Challenge Pack: Combat and invisible predator maps featuring Batman, the Batmobile, Nightwing, Azrael, and Harley Quinn, which allows for focused training in Freeflow Combat and Invisible Predator stealth incursion.
All of these content is included in the “Batman: Arkham Knight” Season Pass for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. Otherwise, it can also be bought separately.
IGN reported that the “Community Challenge Pack” which includes seven challenge maps will be coming in January.
