'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer & Cast: Plot to Include Robin? Link to 'Justice League' Reported

As "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" nears its premiere date, speculations as to whether Batman's sidekick will appear in the film are rife on the Internet. Are there any indications Robin is going to be part of the latest DC superhero flick?
Suggestions that Robin's character, who is also known as the Boy Wonder, will indeed be part of a storyline on "Batman V Superman" were taken from the latest release of the movie's trailer. It showed Ben Affleck's Batman staring into an old and ruined suit that looked similar to what Robin wears from the DC comic book stories. The whole scene alluded to Joker killing Robin and Latino Review reported through an alleged trusted source that the Robin in question is the character of Jason Todd.
The news outlet further reported that Robin was assumed by two characters in the comic books - the first being Dick Grayson and the second, Jason Todd. But, since the story of "Batman V Superman" follows an older Bruce Wayne, Jason Todd is the Robin the new film is going to discuss. However, the movie will reportedly also acknowledge Dick Grayson in one of the scenes as Nightwing.
Robin's appearance has long been speculated for "Batman V Superman" Dawn of Justice," with avid fans thinking "Hunger Games" actress Jena Malone would be playing the character when her casting was announced. "Batman V Superman" was inspired by Frank Miller version of "The Dark Knight Returns" and, in it, Robin was actually assumed by a woman named Carrie Kelly, per Cinema Blend.
However, the news outlet stated that it looks like Malone will be playing the character of Barbara Gordon or Oracle in the movie and not Robin. The news outlet also clarified that Robin's presence will only be part of the narrative of "Batman V Superman" and nowhere in the film will the character actually appear.
Meanwhile, the upcoming DC flick is also going to set the storyline for the formation of the Justice League to connect with the story of "Justice League: Part One." According to Heroic Hollywood, the film's director Zack Snyder is going to present this at the end credits of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and it will consist a montage of scenes similar to what Snyder did for "Watchmen" in 2009.
Back then, the after-movie feature was about five minutes long. With this in mind, fans will definitely have a reason to stay in their seats after watching "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."
