Anne Hathaway Pregnancy: Star Flaunts Baby Bump in a Bikini [Photo]

After months of speculation if Anne Hathaway is pregnant or not, the "Les Misérables" star has confirmed that she, indeed, has a bun in the oven by showing off her baby bump in a bikini, People reports.

On Sunday, Hathaway took to Instagram to finally reveal the good news before the paparazzi does. The picture shows Hathaway all smiles in a red bikini while having a good time on the beach, with waves splashing on the background.

The "Devil Wears Prada" actress wrote along the photo, "Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :) Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!"

Hathaway is married to longtime beau Adam Shulman, 34. The two married in September 2012 after dating for four years. During that time, Hathaway revealed to Telegraph that she wanted a big family, with adoption also in mind.

"I’ll start with one healthy kid but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special.”

Now, "The Intern" star's plan is already in full gear. Back in November, when Hathaway's pregnancy is still unconfirmed, a source told People that pregnancy has been good to Hathaway as she seems very happy with a lot of energy.

The source even added that Hathaway is still very active even while carrying a child and is "even happier than before."

During the Thanksgiving weekend, Hathaway and Shulman were spotted in Los Angeles having a stroll. The two were holding hands while the actress' baby bump is visible from her loose T-shirt.

A source told the publication, "Her pregnancy style is very cute too. She seems excited about her baby and often had a hand resting on her bump." Meanwhile, the insider further described Shulman as "very protective," who "hurried to open store doors and doted on her."
