Design
Samsung Galaxy S7 design will have little changes, per Phone Arena. The news outlet even posted a photo of the smartphone's display panel to show how similar it is to current units. Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 will come with a new design and bolder look that will feature "2.5D glass from panel, and flat metal sides with a 3.5mm headphone jack in the base of the phone and single speaker," per BitBag. This news comes after much speculations that the new iPhone would be thinner, with Apple supposedly removing the headphone jack. It remains to be seen which unit would look aesthetically superior over the other.
Power
Between the two devices, it may look like the S7 is on top with its 4GB RAM, compared to the iPhone's 3GB. Its processor is also known to be fast, while the iPhone's processor is still undetermined at this point other than it will run with an A10 chip.
New Features
Wall Street Journal reported that the S7 will come with "pressure sensitive display" just like the iPhone and will also have a "new high-speed charging port." On the other hand, Mac World reported that the iPhone 7 will also have wireless charging and might even be waterproof with self-healing ports. Its battery life will also be longer than previous versions, according to The Week.
Release Date
Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be announced this February when the World Congress takes place in Barcelona, Spain, according to Daily Mail. Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 is expected to come in September, similar to the previous models' release dates, per CNet.
