There's only two months left to go before fans and viewers get to see Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman battle it out in DC's 2016 offering, "Dawn of Justice" this March. The film brings back "Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder helm what some people call the "other Civil War."

Like many action films, this one will contain a lot of computer-generated imagery, from stunts to costumes and machinery. However, Comic Book shared that Snyder told Empire Magazine that they wanted to "up-the-ante" by utilizing more practical effects and, thanks to Batman's appearance in the film, they were able to do just that.

"It has been really fun using Batman as the answer to Superman," Snyder admitted. "Because he's not flying around and acting crazy. He's just driving around in his Batmobile, doing his Batstuff."

"We were able to do a lot of this practically. Batman brings that back," the director said. Production didn't have to rely much on CGI for this film, as they created a real-life Batmobile and a Batcave.

Affleck had to wear part of his suit as he climbed buildings as the masked hero. Screen Rant reported that the armored suit is actually modeled after Batman's costume in Frank Miller’s "The Dark Knight Returns" comic book and was created by using CGI.

"Figuring out how to mix Batman's practical approach with Superman has been an awesome experience," Snyder admitted.

Affleck also shared some film-making tricks when it came to his epic costume. "One thing that couldn’t be done before but is finally possible now is to wear the suit without the arms," he told Studio Ciné Live. "They put motion sensors on my arms to recreate the rest of the suit in post production, and that allowed me to move my arms freely without looking like a robot during fight scenes. I think it was the first time an actor could have all that flexibility and move his head in a Batsuit!"

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reported that a new TV spot for the film was announced by Snyder via his Twitter account on Saturday. The 30-second clip showed the Batmobile driving up to Superman, who flips to the side, causing it to collide into a metal structure and ignite in flames.

In the clip below, Batman rises and asks Superman, "Tell me, do you bleed?" before the Man of Steel zooms into the night. Batman says menacingly, "You will."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. The film opens on March 25.
