‘GTA 5' Casino DLC Update in the Works, Coming to Single & Multiplayer [Rumors]

The "GTA 5" Casino DLC update has been one of those rumors that won't seem to die down. It started early last year and, up until now, fans are still talking about it. It could be because of the game's popularity among all the gamers today, or it could be because fans are not completely satisfied with the current version of "GTA 5" and are thirsty for more add-ons.

A few days ago, a user name Funmw2, who is known to be a GTA tipster, created quite a commotion after sharing a post about the game on the GTA Forum website.

The tipster wrote in one of the post that the Casino DLC update is definitely coming to both single-player and multi-player modes. Funmw2 also added that there will be three new mini games included in the DLC such as Blackjack, Poker and Slot.

"Actually the casino coding was found in a script related to online called am_mp_property_int," Funmw2 added.

Could this mean that fans can expect the Casino DLC update anytime this year? If the speculation is true, gamers can finally enjoy something new about the game. It appears that the new update is a year in the making that would be massive when it comes out.

According to the International Business Times, the mechanics for these new mini games will be the same as gambling in the real world. Players will bet through in-game currency at their own risk.

Some players are expected to lose because there can only be one winner at the betting game, which will make the "GTA 5" more exciting to play. Just like in the real world, once you lost your money in a gamble, you can never take it back. This will certainly make gamers feel like playing poker or blackjack in a real casino environment.

In an earlier report by the same news outlet in September 2015, there were rumors about the Casino DLC release that was reportedly leaked by DomisLive, a renowned GTA tips with his own YouTube page dedicated to the game.

"I'm laughing at this one because I don't know if it's a troll or if it is just a description. Rockstar listens to the community and they know for a fact that we all have been clamoring over Mansions and Casino DLC. They know this. They watch the video and they read the comments," DomisLive said with regard to the earlier leakage.

There is a big possibility that the big release of the DLC can happen anytime this year. It could be early but nobody really knows, and there has been no official announcement yet from the company. Nevertheless, fans are waiting for it to happen.
