Watch the two new trailers for DreamWorks Animation's highly anticipated threequel, "Kung Fu Panda 3" below:

The third movie in the franchise will feature Po (voiced by Jack Black) who meets his long lost father Li (voiced by Brian Cranston). Li takes his son to a secret panda village in the mountains to meet his kind including the flirt Mei Mei (voiced by Kate Hudson). However, a villain threatens the land as Kai (J.K. Simmons) travels around China to defeat all kung fu masters. Kai has powers beyond what Po imagines. Heeding his call as "Dragon Warrior" and prepare his kinfolk to fight against the evil villain, Po must now teach his kin to become martial arts fighters.

The movie is directed by Jennifer Yuh and Alessandro Carloni. The pair sat down with Collider and other outlets in an interview to talk about the Po's newest adventure. They were joined by producer Melissa Cob.

It was revealed that the plot of Po meeting his father was always present since the first movie which came out eight years ago.

"The big core ideas of Po's father returning, the villain from the spirit realm, and Po actually battling the villain were always there, from the very beginning," said Cobb when asked about how the story evolved from "Panda 1." "It really comes down to execution and the best way to tell this story. There are always many paths and many ways to tell any story, but it's about finding the one that feels right for the characters and right for the movie."

Kate Hudson had to replace Rebel Wilson as the voice of Mei Mei due to scheduling conflicts.

When asked about the possibility of "Kung Fu Panda 4" the three did not give a direct answer but rather said that they want to give the audience a "satisfying" and "completed journey" with every movie.

Po's voice actor Jack Black is reported to star in an episode of "Infinite Challenge" while on an Asian tour to promote the movie. According to Korean website OSEN, the actor will be in the country on Jan. 20 and meet with the show members on Jan. 22, Fashion & Style reports. After filming, Black will resume the promotion tour to China.

"Kung Fu Panda 3" is a star-studded animated movie which includes Dustin Hoffman, Angeline Jolie, Jackie Chan, David Cross, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, James Hong and Randall Duk. The movie will be released in US theaters on Jan. 29.
