3. Grilled Churrasco Steak With Cilantro Chimichurri - The dish combines churassco, a grilled steak often times flank or stip topped with a chimichurri sauce. Chimichurri is a sauce made with parsley and spices.

4. Arepa With Shredded Chicken And Avocado - Arepas are a cross of pancake and pita that are made with a corn base and stuffed with savory ingredients like chicken and avocado.

5. Tamales De Pipían - is made with a corn-based dough filled with meats, cheese or vegetables and then steamed in a banana leaf.

6. Feijoada - is a typical Portuguese dish that is made of stew beans with beef and pork. Per Today, there was a debate as to how feijoada became Brazil's national dish. It was once believed that the dish originated from slaves who used meat craps to flavor the black beans while others believed that the stew was a Portuguese or European adaptation.

7. Papa A La Huancaína - is a Peruvian salad made with boiled potatoes and topped with spicy Huancaina sauce. Huancaina sauce is made with cheese, milk and aji amarillo (a traditional Peruvian pepper).

8. Alfajores - are cookies made with tender corn flour and filled with a milk-based caramel known as dulce de leche.

9. Brigadeiro - is a candy made from the mixture of condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder. This is very easy to make and is often times served at children's birthday parties.

10. Yuca Frita Con Salsa A La Huancaína - Yuca or cassava is a root vegetable that is commonly found at the dinner table. In this dish, they are cooked like French fries and topped with a spicy sauce.
