While Bioware like to keep the developments to themselves when it comes to their upcoming fourth installment of "Mass Effect," several leaks have been reported on how the anticipated game would turn out. Developers have promised a new and exciting world awaits gamers in "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda."

Vine Report reported that "Mass Effect Andromeda" will take on a whole new universe with a new set of characters. The new galaxy called Andromeda will be four times larger than its previous map. Players will need to work with the Remnant, a once powerful race who holds the answer on how to adjust to the new galaxy.

"We knew we wanted to start with a foundation composed of the best parts of any 'Mass Effect' game: exciting new worlds to discover, great characters, and intense action," noted Xbox Freedom.

"At the same time, we clearly wanted to expand the definition of what you should expect from a 'Mass Effect' game," it added.

Although the fourth installment will be set up entirely in a whole new galaxy with a new set of characters, game developers at Bioware assured fans that they will still feel right at home.

Meanwhile, on a Twitter post by one of the developers, Cameron Lee, he shared a glimpse on how the game would feel. Christian Today shared Lee tweeted: "Just finished playing the first hour of Mass Effect: Andromeda."

One of the fans asked how the experience was and reportedly answered that it "was fun and he got to shoot things in the face," as reported by the news site.

The developer has assured the excited gamers that Bioware is pulling all efforts to make the fourth instalment great. In fact, he expects that some gamers would hyperventilate once they get to try the new game.

However, some fans cannot help but be anxious as Chris Wynn, the senior development director, left the game centre not too long ago. Despite his unexpected exit, developers assured fans that everything is running smoothly for "Mass Effect Andromeda."

"Development of Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to move full speed ahead at Bioware Montreal, Edmonton and Austin," the company said via Gaming Bolt. "And with a portion of the instalment already playable, it seems that they really are on the right track."

The game is rumoured to be designed by as many as 200 developers. "Mass Effect Andromeda" is expected to be released in December 2016 in PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles.
