'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' DLC & Gameplay: Teaser for 'Skyjacked' DLC Multiplayer Map Released [Video]

A teaser is out for the much-awaited DLC for "Call of Duty Black Ops 3". The brief teaser trailer showcased "Skyjacked", one of the multiplayer maps included in the Awakening expansion.

Gamespot reported the new Skyjacked map may look familiar to loyal players. The resemblance of this DLC comes from Black Ops IIs Hijacked map. Reports stated that the new map is a re-imagining of the "Hijacked" map from the "Black Ops II." While the Hijacked map was set on a high-end yacht, the Skyjacked is set aboard a futuristic flying ship says the news site.

Skyjacked is just one of the Awakening's expansions four multiplayer maps. The other three maps are the "Gauntlet", "Rise" and "Splash". The news site further reported that a new Zombies map, Der Einsendrachen, comes with the "Awakening."

Meanwhile, Gottabemobile further reported on some details of the "Black Ops 3" DLC.

According to the news site, the "Awakening" will be available first on PlayStation platforms before releasing versions for Xbox and PC. Sony and Activision partnership give a sure access to the new "Black Ops" on PS4. The new DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is scheduled to arrive this coming Feb. 2.

Meanwhile, the game will be released on PC and Xbox platforms more likely a month after, around the first week of March. There will be additional "Black Ops 3" DLC release dates following the initial DLC pack. The expected date of the second release will be towards the end of March or early days of April. The third pack is expected to be released in late May or early June. The last pack will be released on August.

Each individual "Black Ops 3" DLC map pack comes out for $15. Gamers may also buy the "Black Ops 3" Season Pass that will include four map packs for $50. The Giant Map for "Black Ops 3" zombies will be included as well in the "Black Ops 3" Season Pass.

The Season Pass is available on their console or PC. Gamers may also pre-order through Amazon and various retailers. If you wish to play "Black Ops 3" for the entire year, it is recommended for you to buy the Season Pass. However, if you are still unsure, you may wait for the first Black Ops 3 DLC review before making a purchase.
