Since its initial release in 2013, "Grand Theft Auto 5" has been heavily modified by gamers.

PC Gamer reports that the latest mod for the game includes a nod to the massively popular "Star Wars" film franchise.

While there have been several nods to "Star Wars" in the past, Enstarz is reporting that this newest mod is giving gamers the most true-to-source experience to date.

In this newest available mod, players will be able to drive several iconic vehicles that have appeared in the numerous "Star Wars" films and video games.

According to Cinemablend, gamers have even gone as far as emulating the cinematic trailers of the recently released "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens."

Gamers will get to fly iconic starships like the menacing T.I.E. fighter, the infamous Millennium Falcon, as well as land-based vehicles such as the Imperial forest speeder and Luke's land speeder.

What can be cooler than looking down at the city of Los Santos than bearing down at the citizens in an Imperial Star Destoyer? That's right! This mod also allows players to use one of the most destructive star ships in "Star Wars" history.

It does not stop there. The new mod will also include force powers such as force choke, force push and the deadly force lightning.

Players are also given a chance to modify the look of their character to appear in Jedi robes, or even in the menacing make up of the Sith apprentice Darth Maul.

This latest mod has been conjured up by popular moder Kafaros, and his rendition can be found at the Grand Theft Auto Mods site.

Installation of the mod is simple, as players simply need to first download the mod and open "Grand Theft Auto 5" in edit mode. Once in edit mode, players simply need to back up their old data and replace the correct files, as indicated on the download site.

While this "Star Wars" mod is one of the best so far, it surely won't be the last as the franchise is still planning on making at least one film per year, according to Cinemablend.

What do you think about the "Star Wars" mods for "Grand Theft Auto 5?" Do you think they add something better to the game as a whole? Let us know in the comments below.
