Hillary Clinton's campaign is getting stronger as she gained support from the Latino stars.
Fusion reported that the 67th United States Secretary of State is making a big push to win Latino voters. In fact, her "Latinos with Hillary" campaign recently rolled out. Clinton aims to get Hispanic voters in states with large Latino populations including Florida, Texas, Nevada and Colorado.
It seems that Clinton's campaign is successful because the Democratic Party frontrunner is slowly gaining support from the popular and influential Latino performers. Among the Latino artists who support the politician are the following:
1. Demi Lovato - The singer has let it go by joining Clinton at a large rally in Iowa City on Thursday, Latina reported. The "Let it Go" singer sang four songs including her hit single "Confident," which could describe Clinton's feeling. "I don't think there is a woman more confident than Hillary Clinton," Lovato said. "I am voting for her because of her beliefs, her strength and the fact that she completely embodies the concept of women empowerment."
2. Salma Hayek - The "Tale of Tales" actress is among the Hollywood's biggest Latina stars who campaign for Clinton. "I have a lot of hope for Hillary. We need somebody with experience who can endure. And this woman has endured it all. Hillary is tough," she said in the October issue of Latina Magazine. She also sent an email to the former first lady about Donald Trump's remarks on Latinos. "We deserve a candidate who respects the contributions we have made to this country and understands how important it is that our community continues to thrive, all while treating us con dignidad y respeto," she wrote, Latin Times has learned.
3. March Anthony - The salsa singer invited the presidential candidate on stage during his concert at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fl., last Oct. 2. He recognized Clinton and showed his support for the "Latinos for Hillary" campaign by giving her the chance to give a short statement at the event
.4. Wilmer Valderrama - Per Vivala, the actor is an advocate in pushing Latinos to recognize the importance of their vote in the United States. Now, he extends his support to Clinton by posting a photo on Twitter with Clinton. He captioned their selfie with "Have you guys met my new friend #HillaryClinton? She's running for president. Inspired by our conversation."
5. America Ferrera - The former "Ugly Betty" star expressed her disappointment to Trump's disparaging remarks about Mexicans and Latinos in an open letter titled "Thank You, Donald Trump!" The actress has been vocal in driving Latinos to the polls and now she is endorsing Clinton. "I believed in her then, I believe in her now @HillaryClinton #mypresident."
