Take a look what's new in theaters this weekend:

1. "Kung Fu Panda 3" (G) - Just like in what happened with Obi-Wan and Darth, the apprentice will sooner or later become the master. When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to secret panda paradise to meet new panda characters, reports WRAL. However, a new supernatural villain Kai threatens China, defeating Kung Fu masters. Now, Po needs to train a battalion of pandas to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas. Voices include Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan and Seth Rogen.

2. "The Finest Hours" (PG-13) - An adventure drama that took place in the 1950s. In the winter of 1952, an oil tanker bound for Boston was ripped in half during a killer storm, trapping 30 sailors on board. The sailors sent an SOS as the ship rapidly sinks. The U.S coast guard station in Chatham sends in a daring rescue operation despite the overwhelming storm and limited resources they have.

However, Journal Sentinel reports that Newark Stark-Ledge critic Stephen Witty has given the movie 21/2 stars saying the whole film was just "adrift." Although the movie has lots of action scenes and great effects, the human factor was completely forgotten.

The movie is starred by Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Ben Foster, Holliday Grainger and John Ortiz.

3. "45 Years" (R) - A British drama about a married couple about to celebrate their wedding anniversary just to receive news that will change their lives forever. The body of the husband's former lover was found 50 years after she fell off a mountain in the Alps. This has prompted the wife to doubt everything about her husband.

Take a look at the trailer of "45 Years" below:

Building a new life with her husband, she becomes tormented by once more with the violent outlaw gang, Bishop Boys. Determined to protect her family, she turns to her ex-fiance for help.

This movie started production in 2013 but had faced numerous re-casting. According to The Hollywood Reporter Jordan Mintzer, the movie lacked excitement. Stars included in the film includes Natalie, Ewan McGregor, Rodrigo Santoro, Joel Edgerton and Noah Emmerich.
