The Nintendo NX will be released together with "Super Smash Bros," according to rumors.
An analyst by the name of Dr. Serkan Toto published a series of posts on Twitter about his predictions for the Nintendo NX. In one tweet, he states that Smash Bros will be made as a launch title on the NX. However, it is unclear if it is a new Smash Bros. version. He adds that Bandai Namco is working on numerous titles as well.
Bandai Namco is currently developing several NX titles. Smash Bros is planned to be a launch title. I am not sure about the date - yet ;).

To follow up on my last tweet: I haven't heard if it's a completely new (numbered) Smash Bros or not. Otherwise, source situation is solid. — Dr. Serkan Toto (@serkantoto) January 28, 2016
According to Techno Buffalo, several of Toto's predictions have come true. He predicted Nintendo's mobile development plans before the company made the announcement. While he hasn't divulged where he gets his sources, it is unlikely for him to put fake info on Twitter.
Games Radar speculates that the launch title could be an upgraded version of "Super Smash Bros." for Wii & 3DS. Nonetheless, they find Toto's prediction "realistic" because it could be possible that the new game could be bundled with the announced DLC characters including Bayonetta who will be launched in February 2016.
The website also spoke about the rumors of the NX system where it could be a combination of handheld and console parts which mean it could be an in-between version of the Wii U and 3DS versions.
There is no word yet about the release of the Nintendo NX. Information about it is also scarce but according to rumors, it might launch this year. As for specs, Design & Trend reports that the hybrid system could support 4K video streaming at 60 frames per second with gaming resolution at 900p and 60 fps.
As to how the NX will be a combination of a console and a handheld, Geek reports that users will be able to take its gamepad which can function on its own. This is similar to the Wii U and its gamepad, where the latter may be wireless but can only function with and near the console.
As for the NX's rumored controller, a leaked report showed the design consisting of an almost wrap-around display with grip handles, analog sticks and shoulder buttons. It is also rumored that the NX will be using "industry-leading chips" not unlike the ones using the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
A Japanese securities firm, Macquarie Capital Securities believes that a Nintendo NX handheld will exist and will be priced approximately $200. Additionally, the console part of the system could also be sold separately where the two can work in tandem.
