It has been eight months since the A-list couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their divorce. However, the issues of getting back together continue to make headlines.
On Saturday night, the "Daredevil" ex-couple reunited. They took their two daughters, Violet and Seraphina to a dinner at Forma restaurant in Los Angeles, Design & Trend reported. The family dinner happened amidst the rumors that Garner is having second thoughts about pursuing the divorce.
"Jen really thinks there is a chance they can fix their relationship," a source told RadarOnline. "Ben's being good and not going out in public much these days, so she has this glimmer of hope they can make it work."'
Unfortunately, the same source revealed that "The Town" star is not as optimistic as Garner when it comes to reconciliation. "He wants nothing to do with getting back together," said the source.
At the time, Affleck is linked to his "Live By Night" co-star Sienna Miller while Garner is spotted with a series of date, as per InTouch Weekly. It is not surprising if the "Elektra" star is progressing on the dating game.
Latinos Health previously reported Garner's interest in dating. The mom of three had her hair done with celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel. When all was set up and everything was done, she wished she could flaunt her pretty looks on a date.
"When all is said and done, and [Adir's] sprayed you into place, you kind of look in the mirror and go, ah, wow. 'Thank you. Oh, that's lovely," she said. "I wish I had a date!"
Whether the two reconciles or not, they still live together and co-parent their three children.
"Ben is living in the family house, but in a separate section. He has a room to himself, but it's in an area that Jen goes to on a daily basis," a friend close to the ex-couple told E! News. "It has forced them to have to day-to-day interactions and spend a lot more time together than a typical separated couple. It's working well for the kids to have both of them there in close quarters, so they have made sacrifices and agreed to do it for now."
The same source added that there are no plans for getting the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star out of the house.
Affleck and Garner's divorce announcement was followed by the alleged nanny scandal linking the "Pearl Harbor" star to their children's nanny Christine Ouzounian. Christian Post reported that the pair is still meditating their divorce privately before making it official.
