It seems that things are finally looking up for NBA athlete Lamar Odom, whose near-fatal drug overdose back in October 2015 left him in the hospital for several months. During this time, his wife, Khloe Kardashian has retracted the petition for divorce and has stayed by his side until his recovery. Just Jared even reports that a source told Us Weekly that Kardashian has broken up with her boyfriend, NBA star James Harden.

According to E! News, the 31-year-old Kardashian and her husband, Odom have been spending more time together as he recovers.

"When Lamar isn't in physical therapy he is with Khloe. They continue to be closer than ever. No one really knows what will happen with them in the future," a source said, claiming that Odom "has a very positive attitude, Khloe is so proud of him. She encourages and motivates him every day."

Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres during a guest stint on the latter's show that Odom has been recovering well and has been spending time with his family, including Kourtney and Kim Kardashian's children. Does this mean that the two are finally getting back together?

Fans and followers of the reality star will have to stay tuned to the developments, as Kardashian keeps herself busy between just releasing a new memoir titled "Strong Looks Better Naked" and hosting a new show called "Kocktails With Khloe."

People reports that Kardashian had some recent downtime, though, as she spent the Super Bowl weekend with none other than Odom and her sister, Kim, as evidenced by an Instagram photo of Mrs. West. It seems that Kardashian is on the road to recovery post-breakup, as she also took to Instagram to share her thoughts on her recent struggles.

"Everything happens for a reason...Right?! I'm a firm believer of this saying. We may not understand why we have to walk a certain path or why when it rains, it pours but trust that God has a plan," the reality TV star wrote. "'Walk by faith, not by sight.' We must lose in order to gain. Lessons are best taught through our darkest hour. Through crying and defeat. Through sorrow and loss. All of my pain or sadness has only built my strength, soul, character and wisdom. One day, all of our trials and tribulations will add up and make perfect sense. Until that day comes, learn to laugh at confusion and dance in the rain. 'The pain that you have been feeling, can't compare to the joy that's coming.' Romans 8:18."

Fans can catch Kardashian during her "Kocktails with Khloe" talk show airing on the FYI Network every Wednesday at 10 p.m.
