Jim Parsons Movie: Actor Cast in Hidden Figures; Leaves The Big Bang Theory for Good?
Dr. Sheldon Cooper aka Jim Parsons is one of the most successful actors. He has won Emmy Awards for Best Actor in Comedy Series several times and doesn't fail to impress with his charming acting skills and of course those inquisitive facial movements when his on-screen character is interrupted between his so-called Facts and Trivia. Jim Parsons will be starring in CBS's upcoming movie Hidden Figures.
The 43-year-old Actor is a perfectionist in his long-time running show "The Big Bang Theory" where he plays an extremely brilliant Theoretical Physicist who loves what he does and of course, everyone around one does what he wishes. The upcoming movie titled "Hidden Figures" will star Jim Parsons as Paul Stafford who is the head engineer at the Space Task Group at NASA. Jim's upcoming movie is slated to release this Christmas Day.
Jim Parsons is currently working on many projects simultaneously. He is heading "Lance 2.0" which is a story of a young couple when some inevitably happen and it changes lives. e is also the executive producer for "Terranauts". Another TV show titled "The Monarchy" which is about siblings fighting for the throne, MoviesNewsGuide reported.
In an Interview with The Variety, Jim Parsons answered about diverse storyline across all his shows and movies. He added about Ted Melfi who is directing the "Hidden Figures" and said about how Ted was roped in by the producers of the movie. Jim referred Ted and finally, Ted was signed in as the Director for the upcoming movie.
After being an on-screen intelligent guy with brilliant mind character Sheldon Cooper for 10 seasons, a question arose if he ever wanted to play a dumb person and his instant reaction was Yes. He added that he had earlier played a dumb person's character as he loves the character who doesn't know what's happening around him which fascinates Jim.
Rumors started arising after Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki who play Sheldon, Penny, and Leonard respectively, asked for a pay rise after the current contract ends.
