Angelina Jolie Playing Strong; “Holding On” in Her Divorce and Custody Battle, Claims Voight

In a splendid show of feminine determination and strength, Angelina Jolie is "holding on" according to her father, Voight, in the nasty battle of her children's custody.

The 41-year-old actress is persistent to keep her six children away and "safe" from their father Brad Pitt and that is why she has refused Brad's request to spend the Christmas with the children, Mirror repots.

Jon Voight, recently made his opinion public about the divorce of his daughter from Pitt and custody of their children - a matter that he finds a troubling time for the family.

Voight who is now 77 years old was talking to E! News, on Sunday. He also revealed his plan to spend the holidays with his grandchildren and daughter.

Angela took legal steps for divorce from husband Brad Pitt and decided to separate from him after 12 years' living together, 2 of which were in wedlock. She is struggling to keep the sole custody of her kids: twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, Shiloh, 10, Zahara 11, Pax12, and Maddox, 15.

Her child-custody battle is worst in Hollywood since years but, "She is OK," according to her Dad.  But prior to this he did not comment on the sad incidence in the life of his daughter and sufficed to thank everyone for caring and hoped for a better outcome of the situation.

Basically, it was the weed and alcohol addiction of Pitt that brought a breach between him and his family. Jolie even requested the court that Pitt may not be given physical custody right of her six kids but only the right of visitation, reports Inquistr.

Among the different viable reasons of divorce was Pitt's anger problem, too. She had and still have apprehensions for her kids from his "uncontrolled behavior and that is why she is adamant not to let him have joint custody right.

Jolie made the tough decision of divorce "for the health of her family" and there is no way that she is going to budge. She is a smart and confident Mom!
